While you are staying at home if you know these 2 things and how they work together … what phone are you using to call all your friends???!!! |

Me and My friends use mainly Verizon Wireless for our phone service 🙂 |
But finding a facebook friend shared this Ad … I had to pass it along to you all! I grew up using Bell South phones… who woulda thought we really would have video chatting in 2020 to get us all by!Me and my besties got new shirts.

Being her first set of nail polish strips.. she didn’t like how 1 was put on … so the following week she sparkled it up a bit! |
Jannessa did make time to put on a French Manicure from Color Street Y’all!

I love that sparkly nail mixed with the french manicure too ❤ And she shared some extra Color Street she had with her oldest grandgirl Addison!
All these hands were bathed in good quality products too! This Mineral Fusion brand from Amazon!
At the beginning of the week I really found this quote spoke to me and motivated me to focus on stitching…
As I finished stitching “Kristen”s name…
*now changing back to Craftsy*
So left is my progress finished with names and starting on the year they are to marry… and the left is even closer up 🙂 Very pleased with this … And once all the embroidery was complete I remembered I had this stuff… Now it was time to sew that last seam together I had left it apart for the embroidery 🙂 I am blessed to have several hand quilting friends who are wiser than me… |
Finally … I have the quilt top all layered up now… it measures about 40″ x 60″ wide.. remember this a wedding surprise for my son and his bride to be… so no showing the flimsy in full here but you will get snippets as I work on it ❤

Congratulations! What wonderful news! I reposted the first meme, because I remember those days using the pencil. Love all the nail pics. I am thinking of gifting my daughter some of these for Christmas. Never to early to plan. Your embroidery is looking really great!

I'm glad you're hand quilting again even though it's not Appalachian Delight. What's the drama here, schools is starting! What a hard decision for parents to make, online or in school. Have a great week and, of course, happy stitching!

congratulations to your daughter on her engagement so nice they shared in photos. The quilting you choose looks like it will work out really great. Wishing your friends baby the best that is a rough time to go through. Not really talking on the phone much but I text and message a lot – everyday my daughters and I have a message group going off and on one will chime in and another might be on hours later but it goes to all three of us off and on during the day

Poor little Grayson. I hope he recovers soon and his parents and grandma can get some rest and not worry so much. It is difficult when such a wee baby is not well. Congratulations to your daughter and her fiancee. Such a fun proposal. The quilt on the frame has such pretty colours in it. Loving your quilting. Here in Tassie we are doing quite well re the COVID situation. The USA and other countries are a worry though. So many people there seem to not be taking this situation seriously.

Congrats! To Brandi and future hubby and everyone on the new engagement!! So sorry about little Grayson, but glad he is recovering nicely. Those are cute quilting t shirts. Your wall hanging looks so pretty; your embroidery is beautiful! I definitely know about the pencil and cassette tape, so I’m all on board for staying home. I’m worn out with my daddy’s surgery and care the past two weeks. He’s doing much better and I’m hoping for more home time this week. My fingers are itching to stitch!

Congrats to your daughter and her fiance! Beautiful stitches on the quilt surprise. I found a few hickups with blogger this morning…. some of my labels have gone missing and it won't allow me to add new ones. I also dislike having to resize the photo's. I hope they 'fix' it correctly one of these times.

You have some wonderful projects going on and some sweet family photos posted and oh my those cassettes would have been wasted if not for the trusty pencil. Goodness somewhere packed in a box are a few Bell telephones from way back when. Good wishes for Graysons recovery.

Loved your blog post… you had me laughing from the start (yes I know how those 2 things are connected!) then ooohhing and ahhhing over your project with the lovely hand quilting, and then celebrating with you that young people are still believing in love enough to get hitched… especially during covid times! Thanks for linking up to Slow Sunday Stitching!

Congratulations to the family on your daughters engagement. Very cute signs for the proposal. Loved the phone advertisement, I may have to use it too. Having been an old GTE operator in the 70's I really appreciated it. Your hand stitching is lovely and they are going to love that quilt 🙂
