Happy Christmas Week Y’all!
Now I can share these photos too!!!

I sewed the binding to the front and spent a good bit of the week hand stitching it down to the back using a ladder stitch. Then washed it and dried it and…. Tah Dah!!!!
Here is a view of what you can’t see because of the tree…
And a look at the sentiment on the bottom …
Our new business cards came in…
I picked up a couple books I had ordered through the library system…
I got a nice sized baby quilt for future use…
And a layer cake I plan to use for a quilt for me and my honey in 2020…
The actual layer cake is on the left… I ordered from Hancock’s Paducah off eBay and they mailed it flat… LOVE THAT! To the right is all the fabrics in this layer cake… LOOKS LIKE hardly NO REPEATS!!!
Here is a Christmas funny for ya…
I finished the left border and made my way into the first swoon top…
Y’all this is SEW EXCITING for me… unfortunately my bestie who this is for is working a crazy schedule at the moment… so she is unsure when we can meet! So I will finish but the above photo is the last one that will be taken until we meet for her to get it! Saving the best row for last too !!!
I am linking this hand quilting glory to Kathy’s Slow Stitching Sunday HERE <<
And to my HQAL sisters too this week !!

My favorite thing is the fact you're so close to finishing swoon! I love the feeling of accomplishment when I take a quilt out of the frame, then finish the binding and knowing the quilt is absolute finished! You don't need to enter me in the drawing. The book looks interesting but I already have so many books and other things. I'm happy to leave the give away for someone else. Have a Merry Christmas and, of course, happy stitching!

So many fun topics that you've blogged this past month that it is difficult to choose only one. Overall, it has to be Swoon progress! It is amazing all that you accomplish, dear friend. Your giveaway is wonderful, however, I was the lucky recipient of your handy pouch giveaway. By odd chance should my name be drawn, please pass it on. Peace and joy to you all!

So what I love most about your posts is following your hand quilting progress. I hope one day to have time and space to hand quilt on a frame, but that isn't my reality right now. I love that you can look out your window as you stitch and that you have natural light. It's very exciting that you are almost finished with Swoon. I can be reached at srahsgiftnship(at)gmail(dot)com

Since I absoulutely love the Carolina Lily pattern I really loved that you shared the Idaho lily, a pattern I had never come across. I also enjoy all the vintage sewing machines you share on your blog. BTW, your swoon quilt is just going to be gorgeous and what a luck daughter to get such a neat bag! There is so much work that goes into making a bag!

Oh, I love everything you have shown us today. Love the bag. Love the happy flowery fabric. As for the giveaway, because I live all the way down here and you might have to sell your vintage sewing machines to pay for the postage, don't put me into the 'draw'. =)

I am so glad you told us what marking pens you use because I was looking for a different pen as the brand I was using just wasn't working like I thought they should. I love the pens you recommended.
